Title: Anybody fish at Burnaby Foreshore Park
Post by: MrBlitz on September 14, 2005, 02:25:03 PM
I stopped by with a work buddy and had a look at the Park.  Seemed to be a few pinks rising. Has anybody fished this location ... what is the preferred method ... how snaggy is it?

Have a super day,
Peter

Funny you mentioned that. I was thinking of fishing there this afternoon. If I remember correctly, it is very snagly further out when I took my nephew fishing there. That was a few years ago.

If this is the park on the north shore of the North Arm near the railway bridge, then I too was looking at it this afternoon, through Google Satelllite. Was looking at alternatives to River Rd on the south shore, where I have bad luck with parking infringements. The satellite photos show lots of logbooms close to shore at that end, not sure how it looks now, will see for myself on my drive home tonight. Definitely the same schools of fish will be swimming by, so the issue is accessibility, and those snags. Oh yes, and parking.  :-\

Foreshore park is fairly snaggy. As far as pinks I have tried there a few times in the past week but havent had any luck the fish seem to stay out far or on the other side of the river
