Hit the flow after work. Started fishing at 5.00pm (flood tide). Wow what a day! Hooked into 9 fish in 2 hours. Landed 3 ;D ;D and lost 3 right on the shore >:(. Out of the 2 lost, the 6lb leader broke just above the spoon. There are pinks out here with Rod's spoon hanging from their mouth which are mine. Please post when retrieved and I will collect...thanks ;). The fish today where in the fighting mood and I had a blast. 2 of them took off like crazy when I set the hook. At around 6.00 pm my buddy shows up with his fly gear. 5 minutes later he hooks into one and lands it. All the 4 fish landed were bucks. Again what a great day.
Lost lures and fly's in the snags....$15.00. Gas money from work to the flow $2.00 ;D ;D. Fishing with buddy only 5 minutes from home......priceless ;D ;D. Will post pics once I receive the email from my Bud!
Lots of fish jumping out there guy's & gal's. Go get em while it's HOT!

Hey ahans, were you over by Gladstone park? I couldn't seem to find any waterfront that didn't have log booms in front. Around Gladstone, there was a boat ramp, but I didn't see any fish rising. I come from the North shore, so not crossing Knoght Street would be glorious! Any help would help out a family guy with little spare time to explore.
Thanks in advance.

Gladstone to left is the log booms to right along the side walks no logs. Fish along the sidewalk. But watch not to dirty up the place or hook a ped. or the local resident might try to get a motion passed to stop angling from there.
