The Gong was a ringing full bore ... By 4 am it was busier than yesterday at 10 am! :o
Not a lot of fish on the beach considering the pressure.
I was done by 8 am with 2 Sockeye 8-9 pd doe and buck & 2 nice Chromer Pink 7-8 pd does.

Fished the afternoon/evening for a few hours and it sucked. Not many people catching fish, and what were caught were mainly pinks. I was one of the lucky few who left with one Sockeye.

Au contraire.... I managed to leave with 2 sox. It DID take about 5 hours today.
Had a spring on that decided it wanted to head down to Tswassen, and start again :(
Yes, my wife took me out fishing today.... I think she could feel my pain :'(

Mrs DS actually took you fishing after what happened yesterday?! :o Did you burst into tears, kneel and beg for forgiveness and plea for one last fishing trip before you work twice as hard to pay for the damages? ;D

I had actually planned on simply moping around the house, miserable due to my loss. She said "We're going out to Chilliwack to see the truck!" I mentioned it might be a good idea to try and catch a couple more fish, while we're out, since we're practically there. She said "OK".
After I picked myself up from the floor, I packed everything up, and got moving - before she changed her mind.
By the time we got out to the Towing Lot, the truck was already in Coquitlam (oops), so it was right on to fishing :D

So how is the truck?

No word yet. ICBC doesn't work weekends ;) I'm thinking I'll hear today. :-\
