Title: Anyone been fly fishing on the sunshine coast???
Post by: nigglesworth on September 03, 2005, 10:50:56 AM
I am thinking of going up the sunshine coast this weekend and want to get a little fly fishing in.  Does anyone know of some spots for either beach fishing (Pinks???) of a decent lake or river?

Tips would be greatly appreciated!

Chapman Creek between sechelt and gibsons is a decent spot. Also, porpoise bay has a few spots, but I would stick on the chapman creek side. There will be pinks and coho in that spot so a good variety of simple beach flies would probably be a good bet.

I flailed powell lake for a while about a month ago.  There was nothing on the surface.
