Title: Seabird Island Sept.1
Post by: catfish on September 02, 2005, 07:51:18 AM
A friend and I had a late start and didn't get to Seabird Island till about noon. Allot of people there but still better than a weekend crowd. My friend lost 2 close to shore and so did I... :( Wish we remembered to bring a net. Anyways, we did manage to take home an 8lb spring and a 5lb pink both silver and clean. We saw many others bringing in some keepers throughout the afternoon.
              :)
It was a good fishing day!

You don't really need a net if you're landing a fish from shore.

Yeah, just horse em in.  Too tough with a net in six inches of water.

Well thats mostly true, except wen your fishing from rocks, but sand and/or a flat shore is ok.
