Title: Cap Aug 31
Post by: Gooey on August 31, 2005, 08:03:37 AM
Hit th cap for 45 minutes today.

Hooked 3 fish, beached 2.  One was a coho jack (too small for a family meal so back it went).  The other was a little colored so back she went too.  good fighters all the same.  I really dont think you can beat having a fish take hardware...when they commit to a strike and just hammer your lure...nothing beats that!

Beautiful foggy-cool morning...you know what that means...coho season isnt far off!

Anyhow, with the cool weather and rain the bugs on the cap have disappeared so it was a very relaxinging morning.

water level was low...very low.

Where abouts were you fishing, the freshwater or the mouth? Amazing how fish can still get up in such low water.
