Title: Deas Island?
Post by: lowlight on August 25, 2005, 12:20:46 AM
I heard there were some good spots for casting into the Fraser from Deas Island park.. But I drove by there today, and the way was super fast, I don't think any fish would be hanging around there... Does anyone know of a good spot that is in there?

when the pinks are moving in good numbers, lots of them are caught at Deas island. Fish around the spot where the dock use to be.

What dock? Directions please! I'm not familiar with that park at all.

I have fished there before. I would drive into the park and travel just past the rowing club on the left, park in the second set of parking before there is any on the right hand side. There was or is a clearing sort of straight out or to the left a little. You can see part of the old dock there. We would fish around this area and try a little farthger up towards the cement plant. One thing I would always be looking for jumpers and move to that area.
