Title: First time in a long time,,,Vedder still decent?
Post by: crack a dawn on August 15, 2005, 08:15:03 AM
Been away for quite some time now,, and was thinking about heading to the Vedder.  I read the fishing report for here,, and it say's that springs are pretty much done for now.  I would go to the Fraser,, but I'm not  too familiar with the river.
Cheers.

For those that are not familiar with the fraser there is a great book out called FISHING FEVER FISHING THE FRASER FROM MISSION TO HOPE. This book gives you directions to all the bars and if you have a gps it also gives you the coordinates. Pick one up it's great. If you go to google earth you can use the gps coordinates and it will give you a satelite picture of the bar.

Most tackle shops have them. I know gone fishing in maple ridge does and I have seen them in chapters. I bought mine at jammers(I think that is the name) It is a little tackle shop on shaughnassy and lougheed in coquitlam. Just phone around it's worth it.

It actually changed hands recently (Jaymer's).  I think it is now called "Riverside". Can anyone confirm that?
