Title: Seabird 13th
Post by: Floater on August 13, 2005, 04:23:29 PM
Went out again to seabird today, got there at around 6ish give or take 10 mins and hit the water. Sockeyes were being taken just about on the whole bar, myabe there is more of them then they think ???. Only 4 springs hooked and landed the hole day biggest being a 22 pounder i sadly didnt get into any of those. At the end of the day i hooked into 3 sockey got a sun burn but overall good day on the river with a bit of luck and confidence im sure anyone can land those Chrome beasts.

It sounds like a good day of fishing was had by one and all at Seabird.  With the "small' numbers of socks that are in the river being taken during this non retention time, my hope is that the mortality rate is low, and other than fun as much as I enjoy it, is it also worth the gas?

I guess the gas there is 30 cents cheaper so you can fill up. :P

It sure is not worth the price of gas. I can now spend some quality time with the family before the fishing get's worth it.This way it's a win win in my family for them now and for me later ;D ;D ;D.
