Went out to the sturgy hole this evening hoping for some action. Lately it's been a hit or miss but still enough to get ya out. First cast whammo I have a solid hookup but the fish swims towards me fast and spits the hook. Slows down for a while with only the occasional bite and a friend joins me in the time. Soon we see a jet boat roaring up river and pull a quick 180 and come our direction, 2 Conservation officers dock and quickly run up towards us. 4 others fishing beside us reel in their lines very fast and starting with my friend asks for tidal license and to see our hooks. No problem there of course. ;) And approachs the 4 others, not 1 of them has their tidal license. In the end they are each awarded a fine and told to leave. Hat's off to the 2 officers for cracking down on this. Meanwhile I recast out my rig and within minutes get solid hits. Then a 10 minute fight takes place and I am inside the front of the Conservation officers jetboat landing the fish. A quick picture(see below) and the fish is on it's way.

The jetboat is even in the picture. ;D
Fish was taken on worms loaded with a variety of scent.
Fish a little while later after the jet leaves and pack it in. Great day on the water. :)
