Was out for about 3-1/2 hours today at Ambleside. Well, we launched from Ambleside and headed west and trolled back and forth from the pink building to Ambleside launch.
I was trolling anchovies.
NOT A NIBBLE. Sure was fun feeding the seagulls the leftover anchovies. They sure appreciated it!
Anyone have any luck today?
Any tips on what to do/where to go for that area?
What to use?
Or is it just that there are no fish right now?
I don't have downriggers.
Thanks,

if the number of boats out there tonight is any indication of the number of fish over there, no guide boats, nothing really :-X this tells us that there is NO FISH!
I then went over to Vanier and had a look, and everyone that was on the water in English Bay was pretty much off the water by 8. Sheesh.
2 more weeks and we should have some fish.

couple of jumpers, small fellows tho, one wild landed and carefully released.

It's blowing down there this morn (August 1) Winds out of the NW at 25 knots--seas are rolling pretty good. There won't be any fishing in the Saltwater for Salmon today, not unless it dies right down tonight!

Yep, we just canceled our youth fishing camp for today. :-\ It'll die down tomorrow.
