Post by: THE_ROE_SLINGER on July 31, 2005, 04:56:44 PM
Hit the upper vedder today with roe man. Got up at 3:30 in the morning and left at 4. Started fishing around 5. From 5 till 6 fish were moving through and jumoing every where (springs and sockeye). Hooked into a nice spring  early on but i lost it after a 30 second fight. Then 10 minutes later Roe man Yells fish on.It was a  beauti 15-20 pound doe :D. He fights it for 5 minutes or so then right wen we go to land it it spits the hook NOOOOOOOO >:( >:( We Continued fishing for until 10:30 hooking up with the odd sockeye. Decent day on the water. Also on the way Home stoped by on the way store and picked up a couple samosas...DARN THOSE THINGS ARE GOOD :o ;D ;D

Make sure you get out there early cause if not the river will be crawling with swimmers.
