Post by: BCHunter on July 30, 2005, 05:09:23 PM
I was hoping to find out how the fishing is at the Brownsville Bar? I haven't fished in a while but my daughter would like to get out fishing...

There has been the odd jack spring caught there in the past few weeks but all in all it has been pretty slow fishing. If you can get away during the week it would be better as the bar gets really busy on the weekends. Brownsville can be alot of fun when the pinks are running very good chances of catching a fish.

You might want to try Fraser Foreshore Park. They have picnic tables and washrooms facilities. You and your daughter can have a nice picnic while waiting for the fish to bite.
