Title: Morse Steering cable?

This is a shot in the dark but it can't hurt.  I need a new cable for my older (1981) rack steering system on my boat.  As the part is no longer made, I have been unable to find someone that knows what could be used to replace the part.  Part to be replaced is a Morse 300613 192 IN 2579P.  Any advise as to what to use, or where to look would be greatly appreciated.

Give Paul Slade a call at 604-825-0824...tell him you were talking to me...Mike Campbell...and let him know what you are looking for...He is really good at comming up with old parts for engines, strg etc.
