Title: another tackle shop gone

gills tackle in langley is now closed. after ten years of supplying the community it shuts its doors and i dont know why.  any one else heard why.?? ??? ??? ???

Gills has been gone for a bit now. It's just too bad they didn't settle with all the wholesalers. Don't think anyone involved with that store will be back in the tackle business again  ::)  ::)

yup thats it the mom wanted to retire so they shut er down  :'( :(

I'm pretty sure they got tired of the holidaying sockeye fishermen, and the carryover thereof. good for Gills for getting out of the cutthroat biz, and enjoying life!!

I agree, she was having a real hard time dealling with people near the end whom had a little problem with fishing ethics..
Sad to see the shop shut down though
