After a leisurely supper I loaded up my gear and headed to the Capilano to try my luck. The river is low and clear (so what else is new ?) I hike downed to my favourite run and proceeded to flog the water with yarn, jensen eggs, shrimps and spinners. Saw a couple of nice cohos but they tight lipped. After about an hour I switched over to a copper Colorado spinner and managed to entice one to bite. I was slow on the draw and the hook became unglued after a couple of jumps. None of the fishermen that were there had any luck.

I hit Cable Pool for a couple of hours, landed a smolt, it caught me offguard, released unharmed.
Walked downstream slightly to some faster water, hit nothing.
Bussed home, the bus gets more entertaining every time, this tim it was 3 drunk French guys, and as the way it goes, one of them has to sit next to me, and the 3 of them start singing. T'was interesting....yet amusing. 8)
