Where along Sturgeon slough do people usually fish? It seems so long and it only seems accessible from that little bridge off ladner road?

I just got back from fishing there. Managed to land 4 catfish. Still looking for my first bass outta there. Anyone got any tips on what to use?

Tube jigs and rubber worms.

Ya tubs jigs and rubber worms to work well. Comming from someone who has caught many bass.(ROEMAN has never caught a bass) :P ;D ;D ;D

Went again today. Managed about 30 cat's nothing big. I'd estimate the biggest was around a pound. Seen a guy with a fly rod came and landed 2 crappie. Still looking for them bass. And to the guy asking how they taste? I wouldn't eat a fish out of the water there. It looks disgusting. :-X

And old and stinky and ugly ;D If you go to the Mississippi, the cats grow even larger(and uglier). People in the US southeast actually raise catfish in ponds commercially and are featured as a deep fried staple in most restaurants there. Tastes awesome!! Kinda like Kentucky Fried Chicken, except catfish is the meat.
