Spent two hours on Pillar lake saturday evening caught and released 3 Bows 12 - 16 ". All fish were hooked in a 30 min span on the fly . First time I fished this lake. Nice little spot away from the crowds seen a few fish over 20" jump. Might try to camp there in the next few weeks. Also drove by Monte lake I could't believe the amount of jumpers there were fish rising from one end of the lake to the other. We drove by Friday at 7:30 pm .

Where is Pillar Lake ?

good luck in camping, unless you have an R.V., because the lodge owners don't like tenters, and then there is no other place to stay but at the public day area which is very tiny so good luck day use only
