I'd like to go Fly fishing by belly boat this weekend near Hope. That is if the weather somewhat cooperates with us. Whare do you recomend and what would be a good weapon. You can post here or send me a message if you want. Any tips would be apreciated.
Thanks

Sasquatch park is pretty close, four lakes in there (5 if you have a 4x4 :-X)
And in Deer Lake there are 3500 yearling cutthroats that'll take almost anything ;)
I was just there on Monday. Fly and worm

there are also some lakes that i have been wanting to fish around or before chilliwack lake. some are hike in only.
the other thing is i find in spring/fall that if you drive another hour from hope you can fish the kane valley, courtney lake, kidd lake, even nicola lake (large and intimidating but lots and lots of fish in the this lake). an extra hour of driving can pay off with bigger and more abundant fish.
oh yeah, looking at my fishing log, last year in june my buddy fished cusheon lake on saltspring island. caught three eighteen inch cutthroats on a dark green olive gold bead head wooly bugger. i always forget that saltspring is not that far away from vancouver.
