Title: Capilano April 21st
Post by: Fish Assassin on April 21, 2005, 08:13:38 PM
Took some time off this afternoon from preparing my income tax and went fish my local flow. Warm weather, excellent water conditions with unlimited visibility. Fished the first run for approximately 20 minutes with no success. Packed up and hiked downstream to my secret spot. Ten minutes after my arrival, my float took a plunge in a section of fast water. I set the hook and was soon into a beautiful chrome 7 lb. hatchery steelhead.

A bit of warning for anyone planning to fish the next few days. Be alert for a black bear. Saw it on my way out.

There's no retention of hatch steelies in the Cap folks.

Rob, again, thought you're leaving? If you want to stay, you're welcome to stay, but please stop stirring up crap like the above question. Thank you.
