Chrome Mykiss just phoned and said Vedder River's visibility is down to 1 foot or less. Water, brown. Hope this saves some of you a trip this afternoon.

The entire river now. Lower was grey to begin with, upper started out as pea green but it is brown now.

If I get near the river I will give you a update. I just noticed the snow line is at the top of Vedder Mountain.

thanks cgris,by the way, havent seen any fishing report from you,how are you doing lately.

Just checked it at the Freeway Bridge and it is mud, mud and more mud.
I would advise to stay at home as I am sure it will not be fishable tomorrow. The rain has stopped and the sun is out but I hear showers are still in the forecast. I see by the river gauge it jumped close to a foot over night but is on the way down now.
Re my fishing reports
I have had so many meetings and other commitments of late I put fishing aside for a while so will be ready in May for bar fishing for chinooks and some lake fishing.
Also battled two rounds with the flu and cold bug that did not help.

thanks for the report again,
