It's been a few weeks now. So I decided to hit the Wack. Moved around quite a bit from spot to spot, since it was slow in some lower reaches. Tried a spot mid. river and found a nice sized chromer bury my float, wacked it and out of the water it came shaking it's head, started to take off and felt like a roll, you guessed it ..#%^* just spit the hook, tried for a little bit longer to no avail. ....so I moved to another spot I wanted to try and hit it lucky. landed 3 wild of no huge size , average about 10 lb. slight color and a small dolly varden about 3 lbs. all fish being hit on roe sacs . down to my last roe sac ,firing back in again and after a few drifts a good hard pull ,didn't have enough time to set it , retreived it and all there was is mesh. Time is getting on and a nice way to end my day , had FUN !! beautifull day out, no rain....water vis. a good 3+ FT. and dropping from what i could see on the rock water marks. sure enjoyed my day off .....

Nice. I went out thursday, and touched nothing. The water is in mint condition.

Are they netting the steelhaeds? ???

Nets in the Vedder ??

That would explain why it has been so much harder to catch steelheads. >:(
