After a very restless night I got up nice and early and headed out to my local flow in hope of finding some steelhead action. An angler was packing up and leaving as I arrived at my first spot. We chatted a bit and learned that he's been there since first light and have nothing to show for his efforts. He was going to try his luckfurther downstream. I proceeded to fish two pools using roe bags, procured coho roe, spinners and rubber worms also with no results. Water visibility was approximately 3 feet, up from the 2 from yesterday. After an hour, I proceeded downstream. I met up with the gentleman I met earlier in the morning and he reports that he hooked and lost a steelhead on a homemade spinner. I fished the lower section for 1/2 hour then left to come home to tie some Squamish Poacher fliies.
