Title: Vedder March 4th
Post by: norm_2 on March 04, 2005, 08:46:18 PM
This is for all who work Monday to Friday.  I took the day off to see what it is like on the weekdays.  Started in the lower river and there were a few people at each run at sun-up.  After sun up, there were even more.  Actually it is almost like the weekend.  Saw a few hooked and most released.  Nothing for me.

Then I went to the upper river where there were fewer people.  My float went down.  My excuses are: wasn't paying enough attention after 300 casts, too much slack in the line, reactions were a little slow, hungry, etc.  Anyways, I had a weak hook-set, I felt the headshakes, I saw the flash, and I got that awful feeling.  This is good therapy, I feel better.

Good luck for those fishing on the weekend.

Norm
