Well finally got out for the first of many stugeon trips on Sunday with 2 good friends and my son. What a beautiful and warm day it was on the Fraser...We fished down from Mission Bridge and saw quite a few guide boats out!...Anyway the fishing was quite slow with only small ones biting for us today but we had lots of laughs and watched 20+ mature and immature Bald eagles playing around on Matsqui Island ;D
All in all an excellent day EXCEPT when we pulled anchor to leave our starter calved on us ??? I guess it is just another part of the adventure...................

Moosefinder I was out there on saturday we fished all around Matsqui as well. We hooked one about 2 feet long lots of guys hooking little ones nothing big. Sunday we fished all around the Portmann and as far down as the bottom end of Anasis island with no takers at all. Monday I decided to venture up the pitt to try for some big daddys a few taps but no takers . 3 great days . Today im going out to try the Pitt river again I read report of two guys fishing for trout that hooked an 8-10 footer but it got away. It's still early but the ooligans should be coming soon can't wait for this fishery to get hot again. I will post a report on todays outing later.
