Bug Pumper and I hit the chehalis today. Man did we get soaked. The rian wasn't terribly heavy but it didnt let up the entire time we we on the river (first light to 12ish).
The river was beautiful, fished 2-3km of troughs, pools, and pocket water varying from 4-8 feet. We we blown away to not have any action. One particular spot gave me 2 fish 2 weekends ago so we had high expectations. Everything seemed perfect, just no fish.
I water was very clear and relatively low so I dont think the rain in the moring would blow the river out tomorrow...but if it starts dumpig tonight, who knows.
Good luck tomorrow gang.

I was there today as well and it really was a slow day. I got a couple small hatchery trout and came up empty in some good looking water.
