Title: Squamish November 30th
Post by: slick on November 30, 2004, 09:54:04 PM
Nov. 30

Today I went up to the Squamish to fish.  I parked by the railway bridge by the Mamquam.  There was snow all over the ground, fresh powder. Everything looked so clean and pure  & not a soul in sight.

Conditions on the Mamquam were perfect, nice flow  but a little too clear for me.

I hiked down to the Squamish  the river looks like its changed,  super clear, really low and no signs of fish.  It looks like the storm from a few days ago flushed the river out.  There were barley any dead dogs around.

The Squamish might be done for the winter..?

Rod,

I haven't had too much time to fish this season.  Was on vacation in Hawaii for part of the fall.  Didn't get a chance to fish over there.

Looks like I'm going to wait it out until Steeheading on th Vedder in January.

How was this season for you??

I was up on the Squamish during the dark days of winter w/o FWR. I had a blast. We got into some late chum, and in the afternoon, some bull trout...or at least thats what I think they were....

Vince

I will send Rod a pic to post.....
