Biff and I hit a couple of holes on the chehalis today...not much to show for our efforts. Biff with a couple long line releases and me with 4 coho to the beach. 2 were keepers, one was a wild, and unfortunately, the biggest cleanest fish of the day had a fungus covered bite mark on its back :P.
It rained hard from 9am til when we left...if it rained like that all day up there, there river will probably be a mess tomorrow.
I really dont know where all the fish are ??? that river should be much more productive.

I too was on the chehalis today from 10:00 -12 . tried a number of holes but mostly dark chum. Saw Two coho , one was nice silver ( guy with big smile carrying it home) other looked like it was already smoked . hook chum so fast that coho didn't stand much chance. River was rising even as i fished. Didn't want to get caught on wrong side of river. last year at the end of november was still catching limit of coho.
