well that is what i was usin roe nice and fresh
after setting the rod out from the boat ten min later a buddy walks buy and notices the tip shakin so he pics it up and sets the hook reals in a little bit and decides theres nothing on
so he sets it back in the rod holder
i comes up out of the engine room 30 secs later to find my line totally astern of the boat
so i thinks to myself thats not where i left it :-\
so i set the hook only to find it already set lol and its fish on it came up out of the water but in direct line with the sun so i could not tell what it was :o
after its initial jump it went staight down and it was like bringing up a submerged mini-fridge not a whole fridge but a mini fridge ;)
i was thinking could this be a spring are they still around this time of year having never caught one yet :o because it did not behave like a coho or chum
so when i finally got it close to the stern of the boat i almost exploded with enthusiasm and started yelling for a net
well long story short i was the first person to land a prehistoric fish of the transom of a $3 mil boat right in mission
did i mention it was my first ;D

Wow! now that's a fish. I had one like that named Homer in my aquarium. ;D But I lost him in a messy custody battle.
I think I have found my guide ;)
What do you say canoe man? Me, you and 3 of my gorillia shaped friends in the brandywine flyer crossing lines.
