Title: report on reports
Post by: legend on November 10, 2004, 09:43:45 AM
I used to enjoy reading peoples reports . But now it's all ways about who is fishing in what manner or who is snagging or who stole my spot or who told who about the good spot, It's time for every whiner to quit complaning about every one else. Just shut up fish have fun and give a good report about your day enough with all this B.S. about the beek up or down from you. The beeks are there and will always be there. This site used to be the best one for not slandering your fellow angler but every time im on here someone is slagging someone else and there ethics. Im sure all of us have accidently foul hooked fish before. All im saying is lets get this site back to the way it was .

Legend-
Thank you for this post...It is something that I have thought about for the last while. Too much putting down members and newbies to the sport! Lets hope we get back on track ;D

so true ;)......that's what happens when some people become proficient in this sport.  their egos swell and they forget how they first started, a few even start acting like they're 'KingS--t' >:(

I agree thats why I have not posted in reports for a while too many people whining. I coach football and baseball for kids and I have to tell you their is less whining from them. ;)

A sport is a sport its not like we are professionals making money doing this.  Lets just have fun and teach people along the way that are less experienced. You would be suprised at what kind of feeling you get when you teach someone something and they get good results.

Well I will come back out of the lurker closet for this post. I used to be a regular poster on here after leaving all the BS at FishBC, then went away as this awesome site started to resemble it. I hope it starts to get back to fishing and less about other people's techiniques (or lack of).

Good be back!
 ;D

Hey Rod,

fatherhood is great! our 2nd is almost 5 months old now (also another reason I have not been posting, as I have not been fishing  ::)

It's so great to see the development of this site Rod, the number of new members is awesome and you still manage to keep things civil  ;D

How was the bottom bouncing discussion this year? you know you should post old threads under a heading so we can have a flashback.

Hope to see you on the water, I (along with the entire lowermainland I'm sure) will be trying out the vedder tommorow, should be a blast!

lol... Don't even go there..... ;)

Usually any posts that are over 6 months old are deleted as the site simply doesn't have that much space to keep so many posts. :(
