Title: Clarity of Lower Fraser November 3rd
Post by: Rodney on November 03, 2004, 04:09:26 PM
Drove by and dropped my line in the water for 30 minutes today. No fish, but clarity has improved greatly in the past week or so. Visibility is now at around 2 feet, back to the dark greenish colour instead of brown. There should still be waves of fish coming up in the next couple of weeks (except during the commercial chum openings (http://www.fishingwithrod.com/yabbse/index.php?topic=5478.0)).

Rod do you ever fish with spoons for Coho in Richmond area this time of year?

That's pretty much all I do when I fish around here. I rarely use roe, which I save for the Vedder etc. :) The fishing is unpredictable, but I generally try to increase my chance by fishing two hours before and after peak tide. Spoons and spinners... pink, orange, copper or simply silver.

Didn't do so much this year as I was too busy on the Vedder. :) I did get one fish:
