well i guess i should start by saying that i work at Red Robin restaurant. I cook on the pantry side of the kitchen. Anyways, it was late around 11 or so and my buddy and i were really bored cuz it was dead, nearly an empty restuarant. We're talking about planning some early April Fool's pranks this soon and he tells me he'll give me a couple bucks if i slam back a shot of melted butter. Being the moron i am, i did it. I dont know why i did it. Maybe it was pure boredom, or being broke but i did it. I defy the rest of you to top my stupidity.

You got to figure that it would probably be a little hot, but
calling yourself stupid, Nahh. You were just bored, don't be so hard on yourself :o.

My vote goes for bored AND dumb....that can be a deadly combination, luckily it wasnt!
Butter melts between 32-36C so hopefully you let it cool down.

Believe me, you are not the stupidest (is that a word?) person on this sight. If that's stupid, then you a saint. I shant go any further as I plead the 5th. ;D

chronic, I just remembered...it should take 12-24 hrs. to digest, so I would stay close to a can if I were you :-X

If it makes you feel any brighter, last summer, I tried to plug in a radio after fishing, and got a pretty decent shock (water + electricity = PAIN + numbness). This is the same year I managed to gaff myself... :-[
Last halooween, me and a few buddies built an 8-ft sling shot in my back yard that could clear my house with a water bomb and land with ~1 accuracy, not a good idea when there are police choppers overhead... 8)
Anyone else got any du,b experiences they are willing to share ?
I gotta admit, the butter is pretty nasty !!! :-X What's the reccomended butter intake anyways ? ;D

Hey Spudcote, U want dumb. When I was ten and far up in a chestnut tree I saw an ordinary yellow garden spider in a web. Well my brother had shown me one in the backyard when I was five but then he had told me it was the dreaded and deadly banana spider. Scared the livin bejeevers outta me and into the house I ran screaming for mama. Fast forward five years and there I am in the tree on the same branch with what I still thot to be the deadliest killers of little kids since early bedtime. Well I backed up and, yep, you guessed it, no branch. Down I fell. My brother Steve on the ground said I hit every branch there was and that when I landed on the picket fence to finish it, thot I was dead. I woke up at VGH strung up like a Thanksgiving turkey. The count. Two broken arms, two broken legs and one fractured back. Dumb, you want dumb. Hey I thot you could trust older brother's when they told you something. :D

When I was yonger and in cubs we had this stupid infatuation with smoking random things we found. Our brightest moment came when we decided to try out koolaid. Just imagine sucking in a lungful of flaming sugar. :'( :-X :-[

Since Halloween is around the corner.......i'll tell ya stupid....my brothers and i used to have competitions who were the toughest all the time. Well....to cut the story short......we thought we were so brave and tough that we decided that we can withstand blowing firecrackers, purposely, in our fingers :o :o Luckily....our fingers weren't blown off, but just burnt and felt a little throbbing. Now that i'm older.....my son gave me a firecracker just a few days ago........i lit it and pretty well threw it instantly. It actually took me a while to light it cuz i was kinda nervous and not as gutsy as b4. Things you do when you're at a young age :-\

thats not the only stupid thing i did. i just graduated from high school this year, and a coupole friends and i wanted to do a prank. we brainstormed a bit and came up with the idea of dressing in all black with ski-masks and GIANT water cannons/guns. we ran around school wreaking havoc on almost everyone but got stopped by some teacher (pfff...thought he was gonna be a hero). it was 3 days before school ended and they sent us home for the last 2 days. like we were gonna go anyways huh? ;). we ended up in the principles office for a while, while she ripped us apart talking about how the cops were called and all. we didnt get to walk across the stage in the ceremonies but those are boring anyways(2000 kids in our school). boy were my parents PISSED!!! loudest ive heard them in a long time.
