Title: Ramirez and Martinez!
Post by: bigguy on October 13, 2004, 10:54:59 PM
Just my opinion, but these two guys are twits and losers!  Where are they when it really counts, that is the measure of a true superstar!  Boston would be better without them!!!  Now Jeter and Posada! They are pressure players! ;D 8)

I totally agree bigguy Ramirez never gives 100% in the field and if they want to play him they should use him as a D.H.

 A. Rod and Jeter were a team destined to play together :)

Ramirez should be the DH.  His glove cost the Sox a few runs already.

By the way, why is $12.5 million/yr Giambi sitting during the high pressure playoffs.  He did that last year as well.

He has been sick!  First a parasite and then some kind of tumor!  May make Series roster, not sure of rules! But Johnny O is playing great!

Manny made another awful play in the field last night letting a ball get past him.  It didn't cost him a run but still....  Sheff looked pretty bad on another play as well.

Its real unfortunate for Giambi.  Sick all year long and came off the DL in Sept but never impressed Torre enought to be put on the playoff roster.  His pituitary tumor however may have been caused by steroid use.

ManRam and Pedro make $22.5 and $17.5 million US respectively. Bad investemnt for a couple of guys who can't perform when it counts. Ortiz, however, is looking like Mr. Clutch. Was really impressed with the strike Posada threw to second to get Damon out. That was a rocket of a throw. Hope it goes to seven games.

Too bad about Giambi, but Olerud was a steal for $100,000. Giambi may end up like Caminiti and Lyle Alzado.

4-0 in the 4th inning off a 3 run blast by the no 9 hitter Belhorn.  Ortiz may be the Yankees 'Papi'

What is Johnny O's status?  He was hurt the last 2 games.  And was he ever a steal (not that he steals bases, he's too slow for that  ;D)  The M's paid $7 million+ of his salary this year before they released him and the Yank's picked him up.  He plays a real sweet gold glove with an equally smooth swing.

Hit his foot with a bat!  They need him, is a much better firstbaseman and would not have struck out, he must be hurt worse than it looked!   Manny is still a twit!
