Title: fishing derby?

Hey is there a fishing derby  on saturday?At one of the campsites?heard there was..and is the annual spring  derby on to ?any info would be great ;D

Deadhead, there isn't a Chinook derby on the Vedder this year as the committee has decided that it promotes flossing. Instead, there will just be a fundraising social (http://www.fishingwithrod.com/crac/social.html). The prize money will be the same, except they will be won by draws instead of fish. :)

Ya it was a mad house down by the train bridge last year :P :Pand there sure was alot of flossying there.

Give them a call. I believe it is on tomorrow and biggest Coho takes $750.00 and biggest Chinook takes $250 if I am correct as I saw a poster in their window a month ago stating this. Lot's of dough for one fish. :o
