Myself and a buddy are thinking of heading out in the morning to the Cap, but not sure what times are good to be on the water? I am usually only there in the evenings, so not sure how early to get there. Any ideas??
Also, how has the fishing been up there the past few days? I was there last week and couldnt believe how many fish were jumping (right out of the water). I have never seen it like that, so I am hoping there will be lots of action this weekend. Any thoughts??
Thanks and tight lines!!

Anytime is good to be on the river. I suspect that it's going to be slow given the low water conditions.

Would you say first light is better though? At least to find an open spot for a while?? Any ideas on what time? Just before sunrise?? Thanks

First light is good because the fish has not been spooked.
