Title: Vedder sept 14
Post by: FishGuts on September 14, 2004, 11:20:52 PM
Nice quiet day on the river today, nice visibility up river but water a little to high and fast for my liking. I had 2 springs that spit the hook out near shore which made for an easy release and 3 I didnt land or get a good look at so I dont know if they were coho or not. All were around 10 lbs and bright silver caught with good spring roe. It seems the few coho in the river are ripping thru to the hatchery as there are a fair number in there already. Didnt see or hear of any other fish caught except a 4lb rainbow.

That's a big rainbow. By any chance did you see it?

No I didnt see it but I have seen others in the past and yes there are some that get that big, there are even the odd dollies that reach 4lbs or so.
