Awesome!
I haven't been since 2020... right before some kind of world changing event took place. I'm looking forward to taking my kids again and seeing all of the great vendors and presenters.

Pretty weak looking fishing lineup at the show. I see Fred's with a booth that's 70', Chrome Strike Outfitters, Torpedo tackle shop, a Gamakatsu booth and a Yakima Bait booth. There is a presentation by Jarod Higginbotham from Yakima bait that could be pretty good. Will show techniques used in Washington & Oregon that maybe aren't used up here

The Outdoor show in Chilliwack is a great show as well . I will be going to that one as well . Especially when they last year had a great selection of resorts to look into .

Beware if you buy tickets online. 20 minutes after I purchased with my CC online I had charges that I did not do thru Amazon.

After the hundreds of poor rated post I've read on Saturday , I ditched the idea of attending lol.

I haven't been in over 20 years. I'd rather watch paint dry.

These shows are just glorified boat and motorhome shows! I'm the same as SuperBobby, haven't been to one for 20 years.

I am wondering how, if you haven’t gone to a show in 20 years, you could state an opinion on one?

I first went in the 90s when I was 17. That was over 30 years ago. The shows at the Tradex were very good back then. I kept going back every year for the next 3 years.
They were still good but by the late 90s they had started to noticeably go downhill. I would skip a year, skip 2, and then went to my final show in ether 2004 or 2005 and it was completely a waste of time. Talking to many others who went in the last 20 years and they all agree that it is a mere shadow of what it was and is even less exciting than even 10 years ago.
I think that should be good enough to state an opinion.

One of the questions I always had was why were the 'little guys' disappearing from the booths as time went on?
They were what really added to the show. Then I enquired about what it cost to rent a booth at the show and I just about choked on my overpriced lunch that I bought.
Left a really bad taste in my mouth and realized that just like everything else....it's all about the money and there is no room for the 'little guy' anymore.
I no longer contribute to big corporation BS.

Seems like a lot of people don't like or accept that others have an opinion and criticize those that voice an opinion.

I have no problem with someone voicing an opinion but I find it funny that people who haven’t gone to a show in 20 years offer can say These shows are just glorified boat and motorhome shows! I'm the same as SuperBobby, haven't been to one for 20 years.
how can you describe something that you have never seen? There is very little in this world that resembles what it was like 20 years ago.

Seems more an example of a trivial prejudice and not opinion. Not a big deal in either case.
