used to fish there a lot back in the late 90's . One year we went and couldn't keep the mackerel off the hook  . They ate up most of our bait so we had to change to spoons . Then we got into mostly black bass . fortunately we found where the chinook were hiding . Kept a couple bass around 6 lbs. .Now its to expensive to go there . I think it was 25 bucks a night back then at McKenzie beach .
