Title: BCWF News Release on Coho Catch and release Mortality

A recent 2 year study found the on average 31% of coho caught and released in the ocean subsequently died within 50km of the release site. BCWF is recommending best practice c&r techiques for all coho salmon. For fish caught in salt water they specifically recommend the  "gaff" method.
