Title: i miss the vedder crossing bridge webcam.
Post by: dennisK on May 24, 2024, 07:12:16 PM
so i got hooked (get it? hooked...) on the vedder crossing bridge webcam. it was my window out of uninspired days.

then it got yanked. like a meme stock after the fomo crowd moved on.

i emailed them and even called but never got a reply. it seems abnormal there is no active webcam on our beloved river.

this is the link I'm talking about. maybe social media like FWR can get their attention :)

https://www.pacificrivers.com/camera/

ps. and whats up that their email is "info@atlanticrivers.com" ??

Seems they are looking for donations to keep the camera operating.

Pacific Rivers is owned by Atlantic River Outfitters so one generic email for the company.
This is also why the heavy influence of Loop products and how they were able to be resellers of Simms products and other brands that usually give dealers exclusive territories. Fred's had many of those sorts of brands and are just down the road.

I think they are a franchise of Atlantic River outfitter. They share the information and guides. I have very good experience with Atlantic River outfitter. The gears in their website have more attractive price.

I have not set foot in the place. Could care less about the river cam. Been a loyal customer of Fred’s since the early 80s.

But a little bit of tree trimming is needed.
