don't know about the plastic bags on your feet or clipping the straps around your neck (potential chocking hazard?)but the cloth clipped inside your waders and the chair in car seem worth a try.

Fished a whole season with plastic bags on my feet because of leaky waders.
Had more patience than money back then.

Bread bags were the best, used them in my teenage years :)
-
Back in the day before neoprene waders when only rubber waders were available we used to put a wool work sock over each boot to get a better grip on the slippery rocks.

I tried the "clip waders straps around your neck to pee" technique this weekend to great success! I got much less urine on the front of my waders than usual ::)

Love the zipper now on the Simms G4 waders. 8)

didn't work for me plus it felt like a bizarre erotic practice... I have heard of people who use ligatures to enhance pleasure but while urinating? Once was more than enough! Bet it doesn't work for women either!

The zipper on those Simms looks great, but $1249 CAD?! Crazy price, and before tax, to boot!

The Redington has a couple of models of zip waders at a much lower price. The lowest is $350 US
