hi all
back from camping at grassy bar i got my first spring ever in the fraser ;D
and also got a 11lbs soc what a monster we had a great time fishing and
limited out yesterday morning.
well the FN i see are still doing the drift fishing all night long this time there were three boats one after another coming down river close to shore just raking in the fish it was incredable the amount fish the natives were stealing from OUR river.
we have one of those 500,000 candle power lights we shawn on them they didn't seem to like this and started yelling and mouthing us off then they came on shore
and taunted us but we kept our cool and as they were leaving they seemed to have hit somethiing out in the water an damaged there prop and drifted down river a bit till the next boat came an helped them out we all had a good laugh...
at that.
i keep buying a licence every year and for what where does the money go ??? not to the DFO thats for sure or we would see more of them around checking people out and maybe even listening to us and check the river out at night and see for themselves what is going on.
now i hear the natives are going to remain open for a while longer than the rec's
is this a reward for illegal fishing at night like whas up with that grrrrrrrrrrrr
I just want to be treated equal just like everyone else
operation barbie fish on !!

Was out yesterday starting about 2. People were coming back with fish from down below at Island 22. As soon as we arrived it seemed to have completely died off.....some people were out all day and did not recieve a bump. I landed 1 and that was it from our boat. Have to say seen maybe 30-40 caught in the 5 hours being there and the bar was almost full by 5pm. Saw 1 Spring landed and a monster lost. Good season. :)
