Just a question. Since I have not ever taken part in this fishery I am curious about a couple things. I can find nothing in the notices about an opening. In the past an announcement was made in Sept.
Where I live at the start of the Adams River I typically get an accidental spring or two while fishing for rainbows and bulls. Always released in the water btw. While evacuating for the final time yesterday I saw many cars and trucks parked along the river above Pritchard. The past number of years has seen the number of boats multiply as well. The campgrounds are already packed with people fleeing the Adams Complex fire. If this is open does anyone have any other way to make sure of an opening other than the notice list? I am up to date on the email so I am a little perplexed.

I sincerely hope you have something to return to riverman. Horrible situation. I was visiting friends in blind bay the night the fire jumped over to sorrento. Scary.

Thanks for the update. On the other score, a serious rain would certainly relieve the tension. Living thru two cataclysmic fires in one summer is enough. We just moved to Kelowna to stay at our daughters as it looks like the power may be out a long time. Taking the kids to the beach in north Okanagan today was a real eye opener to see how the fire here jumped this lake as well.

Fished the T yest for trout.
Tons of salmon in the river. Many pinks running up along the shore, some socks too, and chinook crashing everywhere. My partner even caught a jack spring on a drifted nymph.

Creating a utube channel was one of my son's recent goals. Landing his first chinook has been a goal for a year, and we were able to combine the two in one stroke.
Glad you enjoyed and thanks for watching.
