Hi Guys, I am new to salmon fishing, could you please let me know when I can start fishing for salmon? I know that we can start fishing in September, but what time and where exactly I should go?

Do you have access to a vehicle ? Whereabouts do you live ? How far you want to drive ?

You can start right now.
Capilano Estuary (pinks and coho)
Furry Creek (pinks)
Squamish River (pinks)
Anytime
Check the Tidal (saltwater) Regulations and the Non-tidal (Freshwater) Regulations before you do, so that you know exactly where you can and cannot fish, gear or bait restrictions and what species are open for retention and which must be released.
