Never really given my roll cast mechanics much thought, so it's probably not great. Some great tips and visualizations to try out. I dont spey, so not that familiar with the terminology, but seems to make a lot of sense.
One thing I noticed is that the host does not have much, if any, wrist break during the cast. I'm probably guilty of that...

That's a good video and I was impressed with how he gave good instruction, demo'd the cast and covered the possible main faults in about 10 minutes.
One thing he didn't mention was the roll cast is a good set up for a quick overhead cast for distance. When you retrieve line in and get to the head roll cast the line in front of you and as soon as it kisses the water do a back cast and forecast then shoot line - quick and easy way to get 60 to 70 feet of line or even more out without a lot of effort.
I'd also mention I find it very useful to see shots of any cast from behind and the side of the angler that allows me to see what the full cast looks like when delivered. There were some front shots but possibly due to light (it was overcast) I couldn't see the cast well if at all.

Great video Rod.
Willie is a fantastic teacher, I've taken a couple of classes with him and can't recommend him enough. Such a great guy.
