Please watch this video, released today by Bob Zimmer MP and interviewing PFA Director Jason Assonitis. The PFA would like to extend huge thanks to Bob Zimmer and his team, for their continued efforts in bringing awareness to the challenges the Public fishery and Pacific Salmon are currently facing. Implementing data driven fisheries and allowing the Science of Conservation to speak, is the only way forward, in order to maintain socio economic value for the BC Coast and avoid stocks of concern going forward. Let’s hope that Bernadette Jordan, Justin Trudeau, and DFO are listening and ready to take the necessary steps on April 1st!
