Thinking of taking the kids out in the small 12 footer to do some lake fishing. I was going to drag a fly and maybe a small spinner and see what we can get into.
The other part of me thinks its going to get cold and maybe I should do something that requires a little less work. Maybe shore fishing.
Has anyone been to the lower mainland lakes. Thinking of Buntzen or maybe even Rolley.
Any thoughts... is this just a boat trip more than a fishing trip...

shore fishing with a good fire, hot dogs and marshmallows

love the idea but where in the lower mainland can you build a fire at a lake...

go to a river?
just thinking its going to be darn cold and dont know age of your children but it certainly wouldnt be fun for anyone in an aluminum boat.

It's so cold that my boat is refusing to be dragged out lol... Wait until March for that... Kawkawa Lake opening day.

valid points... maybe I will take them crabbing with the car parked nearby to warm up...
