Ms. Reid toted the government line as expected.
The FN's get the lion's share, and that is the way it is. Made a point of numerous mentioning of UNDRIP and the government's overwhelming desire to fall into step with that.
Area closures will continue FAR into the future (apparently with little or no regard to threatened/endangered stock encounter rates).
And platitudes / lip service towards any other issue of import.
Dr. Walters was a breath of fresh air.
Clearly and concisely spelled out the research and data which demonstrates the largest impacts to salmon stocks are pinnipeds, and addressed several related misnomers while doing so.
WELL worth the watch!
Cheers,
