Title: Capilano dam malfunction causes a death
Post by: colin6101 on October 01, 2020, 10:36:21 PM: Just read about this now, five people swept away and at least one person drowned. The water level rose from 0.6 m to 4.2 m without warning. Be safe out there everyone this year and send your thoughts to this fisher's family. This isn't the normal drowning we read about on the Cap.

Post by: clarki on October 02, 2020, 01:16:56 PM: Tragic. I can't imagine the terror and confusion of fishing on a beautiful sunny day, with nary a cloud in the sky, and hearing the roar of a deluge coming down the canyon toward you. And then scrambling up the canyon walls for your life.
