The river is choked with sockeye now and less than 2 weeks ago, barely a sign. Now some of the bears are so full that they just stop "fishing" and watch! Some nice rainbows on the underwater camera by the weir. Watching is a great way to spend a few minutes(hours?).

There is allways one who is eating fish after fish and the others havent caught a single one.
I get that feeling they must have when im fishing a lake and see some guy catching one after another while i cant get a bite. :)

90% of the fish are caught by 10% of the fishermen. Guess that applies to bears as well

Is amazing how many they catch, take a quick bite and then let go.
Must be releasing the males?
